Trump International Hotel & Residences Toronto is near completion and I had the opportunity to preview some of the units. Trump Toronto looks very promising, however, we left with a feeling of under-service and were expecting more personalized attention then what we received by the Trump and Talon International on-site representatives. Nonetheless, the building itself is striking on all levels. Hopefully the service issues will be resolved in the near future.

Trump Hotel & Residences Toronto offer true luxury in design and smart usage of space. This is evident simply by walking in the common area and checking the suites. The design is magnificent, the finishes are second to none, and nothing similar has yet to be seen in Toronto. Full points for design and finishes.

What we wonder is how the service level of Trump Toronto will compare to other Trump and 5-star properties around the world. Toronto is still in its infancy stages when it comes to proper 5-star condo/hotels. The contenders are:

2012 will be the year where these projects should be completed and we intend on exploring and comparing them all. Personally I am excited about raising the bar on Toronto’s luxury condo/hotels and the service that comes with it.
